Quartz

Quartz is as durable as granite, and therefore used for many of the same applications as the natural stone. What differentiates quartz from granite is that it is a manufactured solid surface, and therefore is able to achieve greater uniformity and consistency in both the colour and the pattern of your surface.

This means that you will be able to see a much purer and lighter range of colours using quartz, including pure white surfaces, which would be impossible using natural stone.
